One of the most amazing gifts our mountainous region gives us, the alpine lake. The bumpy dirt washed out roads that are often white knuckle rides, reward us with small, pristine lakes like this one (will remain UN-named). Tropical like turquoise water in the shallows and deep green as you get deeper into the lake. This, a perfect summer day, always fleeting in Montana.
