This ma fox was hunting for her kits. She had keyed in on something as she stopped and froze to check it out. I seized the moment and with my long lens, framed her in the tall spring grasses. She was a gorgeous girl and a good mother too! I had the pleasure of watching and photographing her several times. Her den was in a great spot as she was protected from people but visible.
