Lavender Moose

There’s something about wildlife in the snow, it’s so beautiful, so tranquil seeming. We spotted this young bull moose standing in the river, in Island Park, ID. We quietly walked the trail along the river and knelt in the snow for some lovely pre-sunset light. With the willows turning purple with the onset of fall, the falling snow and soft pinkish light turned the whole scene into a lavender color!
