Trumpeter Swans are one of our local residents here in the Greater Yellowstone region. You will see them in the lakes, rivers, and ponds. It is especially beautiful in winter when they hang out on the ice. Here, this adult swan was stretching his massive wings (up to 6 ft wingspan!).
