Primordial Bison

This fall day was one of the most painterly scenes I have come across. The sun rose and revealed this small herd enjoying a small thermal creek. The mist rose behind the bison and a spectacular blue sky cleared above it all. Contrast to the golden grass, it was just a sight to see. This is a panoramic image and works best in the two sizes. I have this one in both wildlife and landscape categories, it really is both!
