One spectacular Fall eve, my husband and I were sitting on a log just above the Madison river in Yellowstone. We were watching the bull elks move their harems around, sounding off their unforgettable fall bugle sounds. The bull elk came from far away and crossed the river right in front of us, me frantically clicking away. I could feel the vibration of his bugle in my stomach! He was calling and splashing and it was one of the most exhilarating moments in time for us and this, one of my all time favorite images.
