Otters! One of my favorite of the critters, I guess because they are land & water dwelling creatures, but still mammals. Anyway, we had the pleasure of sharing a day on a high mountain lake with a family of four, one mother and three babes… here I was able to get three out of four coming up for a breath of air! Photographed on the water from our drift boat, these happy little beings were a joy to watch and seemed unconcerned with the sounds of my camera clicking as they swam by!
